I got this following error while running the django web project "ImportError: cannot import name 'url' from 'django.conf.urls'"
CODE:
from django.conf.urls import url from django.contrib.auth import views as auth_views from . import views urlpatterns = [ url(r'^login/$', auth_views.LoginView.as_view(template_name='myaccount/login.html')), ]
SOLUTION:
Replace url() with re_path() from django.urls as needed in your URL patterns.
Instead of:
from django.conf.urls import url
from django.conf.urls import url
Use:
from django.urls import re_path as url
from django.urls import re_path as url
